Aijaz Ahmed Khan holds public darbar in Thuroo Distributes water tanks among needy

REASI, OCTOBER 29, 2022: Apni Party Vice President and DDC Thuroo, Aijaz Ahmed Khan today distributed plastic water tanks among the needy and poor people of the block in presence of the PRIs and prominent people at block headquarters.

The water tanks were distributed among the people during a public darbar in Thuroo which was organised under the chairmanship of DDC Aijaz Ahmed Khan.

On this occasion, Khan Sahab was accompanied by BDC Chairman, Choudhary Makhana and Sarpanches of Block Thuroo.

The motive of distributing the water tanks to the economically weaker section so that they can store and drink clean drinking water, said the DDC Thuroo.

During the public darbar, he took a review of the developmental activities in the block and targets of developmental works achieved during the year. The concerns officials present on the occasion highlighted the works done during the year.

On this occasion, the DDC Thuroo also highlighted issues raised by the public before the authorities with regard to SBM and PMAY schemes. The Govt officials present in the darbar assured that they will look into the demands and work accordingly to address the issues of the public for early redressal.

Meanwhile, people were apprehensive about the upcoming B2V4 programme which is going to start in all the Panchayats from October 31, 2022. He impressed upon all the PRIs and people to participate in the scheduled programmes so that they can project their work before the concerned authorities and the developmental works can also be taken up.

He said that the development should not be delayed and the pending works should be worked on time. He, however, appreciated the officials and department concerned for their efforts to make the public aware about their rights and implementation of the schemes on the ground.
