Dept. of History Govt Degree College Surankote organized one day students seminar on "Stone Age"

Dept. of History Govt. Degree College Surankote organized a one day student seminar on the theme "Stone Age" to enhance the participative learning of students. Prof. Sarshad Hussain, Coordinator IQAC, GDC Surankote was the chief guest on the occasion. A large number of students of Semester-1 participated in the seminar. The participants speak on different aspects of Stone Age. Sabah Qayoom got 1st position, Zaffer Iqbal and Supriya Dutta got 2nd while Mariyam Fatima got 3rd position. Abida Qazi Student of 1st semester conducted the proceedings of theprogram while Prof. Waseem ul Haq, Dr. Shahid Ahmed and Dr. Makhan Din were the jury members on the occasion. Among other faculty members Dr. Tavser Wani, Prof. Riaz Ahmed, Dr. Khalil Reshi were also present.

Prof. Sarshad Hussain and Prof. Waseem ul Haq encourage students for their participation and appreciate the organizer. Dr. Sarfraz Hussain Mir, organiser of the seminar thanked worthy Principal, Prof. Khadam Hussain and Dr. Syed Wajahat Hussain for supporting this seminar.

The program ended with a formal vote of thanks presented by Dr. Sarfraz Mir, HoD History.
